it took me a couple listens through, but im into it now. "hold on" is probably my favorite on the cd
Great music, something Tim is deffenitly passionate about ( he even said his two greatest influences where the Clash and Desmond Dekker), but unfortunatly dose not have the voice for traditional ska. Original 1950's Ska and Rocksteady had great Soul singers. Its like Mike covering a Otis Redding song.

Can anyone who got the free DVD with the CD able to find the "Making of" featurete. I cant see anything?
Solo albums are for exploring musical areas that may not fit with the main band. What would be the point if it sounded just like Rancid? I think it's ok, I like it more out of respect for Tim and as something a little different to change things up.
All the boys in rancid are cool as fuck. That's what made me get into the band and side projects.

But I also think it was designed to have more of a mass appeal than Rancid or Tim's other stuff. The line in the song: 'with a bullet man, we're goin number one."Originally posted by raptorschild:
All i've heard is "into action".....man what a BS song. Can't stand it. It sounds like it should be played on a top 40 station.
Man....i don't understand how a true Rancid fan could like that garbage....but hey to each his own. I'm certainly not the sheep type though.
Hey...Social D had a radio hit or two also, right? Doesn't mean they were selling out. Besides, Tim is a good guy...
